Change the name of a Hub to Life Loss or Life Cost.

A suggestion to change the name of the Hub “Suicide” to be “Life Loss”. Calling a Death’s Shadow deck “Grixis Sui” for example has been phased out for some time now, as it’s an unnecessarily violent deck and archetype name.

MTG has a lot of cards that care about losing life and that’s what they call it on the card. “Pay x life”, “X is your life total” for example, so we don’t need to have this unnecessary card name that may make people who have experienced such things very uncomfortable or even trigger a trauma response.

I know a lot of others feel the same way about this, it’s in the same camp as changing Tribal to Typal.

Seconded, calling it the s-word kinda sucks when options like this are available. It feels like an artifact of Magic’s edgy teenage boy days. Nowadays Magic embraces plenty of marginalised people and oh boy do I gotta say queer people have an experience of that word others don’t have.

I’m partial to Faustian Bargain myself.
