Option to Exclude Cards in Deck from Card Search

Add an option to search that excludes any cards that are already included in the deck - deathsushi#8568

Any news on this potential feature? It would be the last thing I need to totally move my digital collection to Moxfield. I currently just use the site for deckbuilding/theory crafting, but this would be a huge upgrade.

Being able to build a deck quickly from what I already have in my collection without taking apart my other decks would be incredible.

Yeah i feel like there may be 2 features here that got merged but shouldnt have. Kerakis is talking about excluding cards from search that are already in “the” deck, so im assuming he is talking about using the search feature on the deck page. Im interested in (and it sounds like woodbreyjt is also) searching my collection but excluding cards that are already used in decks. This may require a more robust system of tagging cards in collection as being in a specific deck.

It would super useful to either be able to allocate cards to a deck or remove all cards in a deck from collection so that when making new decks we don’t think we have them in a binder or box but turns out another deck is already using the card. Maybe show the card in our deck but already allocated to a deck. PLEASEEEEEE

This is a must have feature! I am new to moxfield and was mind-blown that I am not yet able to do this. Does anyone have other recommendations if Moxfield is not adding this feature? I am also trying to live share the collection with my husband (without the export/import in Manabox). Thanks!

Moxfield is probably the best site of its kind, but they are constantly developing, especially this type of feature.
We’ll have to be patient for now, but I have no doubt that it will happen.

Chiming in to say this would be an excellent add. I have been avoiding adding the cards in my decks to my collection because it makes building new decks with cards from my binders/bulk next to impossible.

I am in the same boat, especially with my expensive cards because I can’t afford to buy singles on a whim and knowing where those cards are would be amazing.

So is this being worked on or..?
