Additional Planechase Support

While the Planechase Deck is already supported by Moxfield in the fact that you can create a simple list of the Planes and Phenomenons you wish to use in a deck, I think it would be good to make a more in-depth support of the Planar Deck List, such as:

  1. Adding a split between Planes and Phenomenons (like Creatures are split from Instants/Sorceries/ect.) to allow for both grouping in Types, Subtypes, Type & Tags, Sets, Artists, ect, to mimic the current way a regular deck is dealt with.
  2. Adding the ability to Tag Planes and Phenomenons, in such a way that allows for a better deckbuilding in the Planar Deck, that would be able to be done much like the Type & Tags grouping in the main deck
  3. Change the displaying of current Planes and Phenomenons by displaying them horizontally from the get-go, to not have to hover over them to directly see which is whose, as the Visual Grid and Visual Stacks function hides 2/3 of the card at best, making Visual Spoiler the only way to properly see them (but making the regular deck take much more place as a result).

Of all of these features, I think the most pertinent would be to at least add tagging to the Planechase Deck, although I guess it would need the Type splitting to be implemented properly. Thankfully, I assume most of the current code used already in the main deck part can be recycled to also apply to the Planes and Phenomenons (or at least, I hope it can be used in such a way.)

  • Another thing that could be added is a “is:funny” for Planes and Phenomenons from events, as they are a different size compared to the regular ones, but I assume it is more of a Scryfall tagging problem rather than a Moxfield output problem.
