Let us apply Collection Binders to decks, instead of just the whole collection

Instead of applying the entire collection to a deck when you add collection tags, give us the option to specify a particular binder.

I use the Collection System to help me figure out which cards I still need to buy for a deck it. So if I have a current constructed list of a deck, I’ll add that deck to my Collection, and then enable collection tags in my list that I’m currently brewing, so I can see how close I am to it and which cards I still need to buy. But once I’ve viewed one deck this way, I have to delete my entire collection because if I have multiple decks saved in my collection and have staples in mulitple brews (Arcane Signet, Command Tower, Etc), then the Collection Tag will flag “you have this” unless I mouse over each one and make sure it’s not in a different binder.

It would be incredibly useful to be able to apply a single Binder of the collection to a deck, So i can make a binder FOR that specific constructed deck, and then apply that specific part of the collection to the brew, seeing what I need to still get but not seeing what I have in other decks.

Yes, some like this is very needed. Moxfield is great to control your collection but is not good to make decks out of it. The deck page shows that you have a card, but you can’t tell if that card is already in use in another deck or is availabe on your general collection.

My suggestion on the subject:

  • Should be more types of binder, for example: A card Storage Binder type for your general collection and a Deck Binder type to represent a real set o cards that you play with.
  • The current deck interface must only show available cards on the general storage binders and exclude deck binders
  • The current deck interface must have some option to pull cards from the general storage binders to the deck binder (and maybe vice versa)
  • A deck can only be attached to a single deck binder
  • You can have multiple card Storage Binders
