One of the most challenging aspects of design (across Magic: the Gathering formats) is assessing opportunity-costs for changes in function for a given card slot – and in many cases sampling hands help in determining zero-order impacts on pace of play compared to other potential benefits, absent – often before – many hours of experiential gameplay.
As such, it may be value-adding within an existing sample hand feature to allow users to select one card to retain while clicking “Deal Another Hand” many times while performing this sort-of analysis.
